• Police are investigating a ChildLine report that a caregiver at a location on Route 322 in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County, slapped the hand of a child at 10:55 a.m. Sept.

8.

• Police are investigating a report that a woman used the victim’s vehicle without his authorization at 4:16 p.m. Sept. 15 on Donahey Road in Grant Township, Indiana County.

• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 6:40 a.m. Sept. 21 on Sykesville Troutville Road in Henderson Township, Jefferson County. A 2014 Ford EXP was traveling east when it struck a deer. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained moderate damage, but was able to be driven from the scene.

• Police responded to a disturbance caused by an intoxicated and disorderly man at 11:01 p.m. Sept. 11 on South 3rd Street in Reynoldsville.

• Police stopped a vehicle for summary vehicle code violations at 1:24 a.m.

Sept. 12 on Wayne Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. The driver allegedly was under the influence of a controlled substance.

• Police stopped a vehicle at 6:38 p.m. Sept. 10 on Wayne Road in Sandy Township, Clearfield County. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He refused a legal blood draw. A search warrant was approved, and a blood draw was obtained. Charges are pending the results of blood testing.

• Police are investigating a theft that occurred at 5:30 a.m. Sept. 8 on Route 322 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. Two unidentified subjects removed clothing from the donation box outside of the Goodwill store. There are no investigative leads at this time.

• Police received information about suspected child abuse between noon Aug. 19 and noon Sept. 3 on Brown Street in Reynoldsville. The investigation is ongoing.

• Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 5:37 p.m. Sept. 15 on Sportsman Dam Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. A 2011 Chevrolet

Silverado was traveling east when it failed to negotiate a left curve, left the roadway and struck a guiderail. The driver sustained suspected minor injuries and was not transported for treatment. The vehicle was disabled from the crash and towed from the scene.

• Police conducted a traffic stop at 10:24 p.m. Sept. 13 on South 4th Street in Reynoldsville. The driver displayed signs of alcohol impairment and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. Charges are pending.

• Police responded to a reported domestic incident at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 13 on Stevenson Hill Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County. Both parties were cited for harassment.
