No injuries in Elk Run crash late Wednesday

PUNXSUTAWNEY — The Punxsutawney Fire Department was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident involving a black Honda and a pickup truck pulling a trailer with a race car on it.
Punxsutawney Fire Department Chief Chris Smith held the accident scene late Wednesday evening to Elk Run’s Engine/Rescue-30.
Central’s Rescue-20 and Lindsey’s Rescue-40 were canceled.
According to reports from the scene, there were no injuries.
Punxsutawney Borough Police were assisted by Jefferson County EMS and Brosius Towing.
The Honda was towed from the scene, and the owners of the race car brought a second trailer to safely transport it.
