• The Punxsy High School Class of 1961 luncheon will take place at noon Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Gimmicks. All class members are welcome to attend.

• The Indiana Singles will host a Christmas dance on Dec. 16 at the Indiana Eagles at 420 Philadelphia St., Indiana. Music will be provided by DJ Cool Tunes from 8 to 11. Doors open at 7. • The Jefferson County Veterans Affairs Department will hold office hours at VFW Post 2076, 121 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, on Friday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m until 3 p.m. Veterans with questions are welcome. No appointment necessary.
